This year Christmas seemed to creep up so fast. There’s barely been time to go see the lights.
I keep saying I’ll get out there tomorrow. Just too much going on right now.
Remember Clarice, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’s girlfriend’s song? “There’s always tomorrow for dreams to come true. Tomorrow is not far away.”
The trouble is with the frantic pace I place on the season, Tomorrow is really far away. I’m not alone with that sense.
I need to make a pledge to myself and for myself, family and friends. Slow down. Appreciate the season. Remember & feel the magic that I loved so much as a child.
I want to push the frantic pressure aside and find that magical feeling as an adult.
I want to spread that feeling to my friends, family and the people I meet everyday.Â
Here’s the pledge: Remember the feeling of Christmas as a child. Try to radiate the warmth, childlike excitement and sense of something wonderful coming to myself and those around me.
We wish you the joy of taking up that pledge and hope you are blessed with the Christmas Spirit for yourself and the rest of your world.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas, from all of us at Red Barn Realty, formerly Coletta Cutler Realty.
