I confess to finding Smarthome tech a bit creepy, but I also want it. As far as home improvement goes, you get a definite boost value for lower cost, compared to a new kitchen, bath or even paint or carpeting. People like me tend to view Smarthome tech like robot vacuums, lawnmowers, thermostats, fridges, etc as toys, rather than useful fixtures.
The post I wrote dealt with interior products. This article from last week detailed some new and improved outdoor Smarthome tech. Look at the list. I mean….I think these things are very cool. Still I’ll keep my eye on that robot lawnmower. Isn’t that how Terminator started?
