My wife loves watching Real Estate “reality” shows. I can’t stand them. I’ve never once closed a deal in a night club. Never spent $5K for entertainment at an open house. If it weren’t for my wife, I wouldn’t have spent $5K for my wedding reception.
Can you imagine spending $5K for a monthly rent? No, that’s the luxury rate. How about the $10K a month for ultra-luxury monthly rent? Me neither, but here’s a link to the article with stats:

Just because I’m curious, I looked to see the most expensive units that rented in Boston over the past 6 months. I saw three that rented for $40K a month. That’s right. $40K a month. What’s your lifestyle like if you can spend $40K a month on your apartment.
Irvine CA & LA came in first place, with Boston right behind them. San Diego came in right behind Boston. Hopefully, the governor’s plan will address the affordable housing issue in Massachusetts. It looks like we’re A-OK on the luxury+ end of things.
