But Bumbles do bounce. Clearing snow off your roof is a major concern here in MA during heavy snow seasons. For anybody doing it, “bouncing” is also a major concern. In my younger years, I’d climb up on the roof to shovel it off, careful to always shovel from the peak down to the edge to have a better chance of not damaging the shingles. Now that I’m a bit older, I discovered that Bumbles my age don’t bounce anymore, they shatter, so I use a telescoping roof rake from Home Depot to sweep the biggest snow off my roof safely from the ground & later treasure the wonderful back & shoulder workout. Seems like any activity with the word “rake” in it means pain. There’s even a roof rake attachment for gutters too.
