There’s a lot of fun data here that could stimulate a bunch of discussions. Cost of living, housing, the job market, % of singles, median incomes, gender balance & more were all considered.
Two cities in each state were selected & then they sprinkled a few more from across the country to evaluate 182 cities. We had Boston(50th) & Worcester(65th).
Reading through & sifting through the intense amount of data, I found the most interesting thing to me was just how much thought & research today’s singles have to use in determining the foundations for the rest of their lives. What also hit me was how I didn’t do any of that. I lived my life, set myself up as best I could for living my life & eventually Divine Providence provided my perfect soul mate. We’re married 32 years this year. So naturally, I favor the “Just be yourself & let it happen” approach. It worked for me.
This would have been a perfect Valentine’s Day post, I stumbled onto the report ON VALENTINE”S DAY. Go Figure. Sometimes, “Let it happen”, with social media posts, has mixed results.
